We are delighted to be assisting one of our regular clients, a forward-thinking amitious apprenticeship provider, who is looking to grow their Business Development team. Being based from home with a few days a week in the office (Melton, Woodbridge), the successful individual would be responsible for developing opportunities and with levy paying organisations as well as some SME’s. The provider are looking for somebody with experience of selling apprenticeship programmes and a proven track record in this field. Ideally knowledge of leadership and management apprenticeship standards would be fantastic. Salary is up to £40K with a VERY generous bonus scheme available. Key Responsiblities
  • Meet with potential levy paying and non-levy paying organisations to discuss apprenticeship programme opportunities – both face to face and remotely
  • Identify and develop opportunities for commercial (non-apprenticeship) programmes
  • Be confident in providing our customers and potential clients with key information regarding our apprenticeship programmes and dealing with questions
  • Complete proposal paperwork and sales materials to progress opportunities to conclusion, including formal tender opportunities
  • Support development and planning of key marketing campaigns
  • Support the marketing team to develop their knowledge of the apprenticeship markets, to help them secure high-quality appointments with key customers and potential clients
  • Identify opportunities to cross sell additional products and services to our existing clients
  • Present our products and services at relevant marketing events – both face to face and remotely
  • Attend appropriate events to represent the company and showcase their products and services
  • Support development of the Sales and Marketing Plan and contribute to identifying new business development opportunities
  • Support the development of new products and services, including the addition of new apprenticeship standards as appropriate
  • Support the development of relevant content to be included on Social Media platforms, our website and client updates
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting of pipeline opportunities Essential Skills and Behaviours
  • Must have significant experience of selling apprenticeship programmes to both levy and non-levy paying clients
  • A track record in delivering business growth in the apprenticeship sector
  • A strong working knowledge of apprenticeships and how the levy is applied in large and small organisations
  • Ability to engage effectively and confidently with senior level contacts
  • Happy to work as part of a team, with aligned objectives to deliver significant business growth
  • Willingness to mentor and support other members of the team to develop their skills
  • A desire to sell products responsibly and ethically, ensuring we are signing up the right companies and apprentices
