Bank Anaesthetic Practitioner (ODP)/Anaesthetic Nurse

Using your Anaesthetic qualification and experience you will be part of a team that has been rated Excellent for caring by the CQC. ensuring that the patient receives the highest standard of world class perioperative care. The successful candidate will work within a multi-disciplinary team in order to support the Anaesthetist in caring for patients undergoing Orthopaedic Surgery.

We provide Anaesthetic cover for 4’ Barn’ Style theatres, 8 Theatres with the addition of CT. Here at the Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Hospital we specialise in Orthopaedic surgery, including primary arthroplasty, complex revision arthroplasty, sports injuries, foot and ankle, upper limb/shoulder and paediatrics.

Who we’re looking for

Ideally, the successful candidate will have previous experience in Orthopaedics and be a minimum of 1-year qualified.

The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, motivated, flexible, pro-active and be willing to learn new skills. We have a comprehensive preceptorship programme established to support you in your new role with the support of a dedicated education team.
