Athona are recruiting for a Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist, to provide a specialist SLT service to Adults and Children.

This is an excellent opportunity to support a variety of speech, language and communication and/or dysphagia needs, covering community, inpatient and specialist settings across the city for children, young people and adults.

These patients have physical, mental health needs or developmental conditions/delay, including Intellectual Disability and Developmental Language Disorder.

Key accountablities -

To be professionally and legally accountable as an autonomous professional for all aspects of own work and delegated work to staff, students and others.

To work autonomously to provide a coordinated and highly specialist service to designated specialism/setting within a multi-disciplinary/multi-agency context.

To provide individual assessment, individual and group therapy and management, training, advice and liaison through a consultative and coaching approaches, as appropriate.

Flexible hours - Up to Full time.
