An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the expanding Radiation Protection and Imaging Physics (RPIP) Department based at Queen’s Hospital Romford as a Band 7 Radiation Physicist. This post will provide opportunities for the successful applicant to work with a wide range of equipment across a number of sites, and pursue optimization, service development and project work. Applicants will require a honors degree in an appropriate physical science with relevant post graduate qualifications.

Applicants should be registered / about to register with the HCPC as a clinical scientist and have experience in Radiation Protection.

The department has recently had a significant funding boost which means the successful candidate will be joining at an exciting time.

To be a member of the team responsible for the provision of a high quality, comprehensive Radiation Protection, Diagnostic Radiology and Non-Ionizing Radiation Physics service to the Trust, patients and clients.

The postholder will participate in the development of the delivery of clinical diagnostic services and scientific support in the fields of radiological imaging physics and radiation protection.
