King George & Queens Hospitals Charity is looking for a creative and confident Communications & Marketing Officer to join our expanding fundraising team.

After 5 years of continued growth our charity is ready to enhance our public recognition and explore fresh fundraising opportunities by showcasing the collaborative work of our charity, our hospitals and our NHS staff. We are looking for a highly organised self-starter with great communication skills and the enthusiasm, vision and experience to take our charity to the next level through imaginative digital, social media and marketing platforms.

You will write and update our website and newsletters, and create all lines of written and digital communication to promote both internal and external events, courses and fundraising stories and campaigns. With a solid understanding of all marketing principles and best practice you will design our charity literature including newsletter and annual report and ensure all promotional content is fresh, true to brand and above all inviting.

This role is 22.5 hours a week and can be flexible to enhance a good work life balance. If you feel you could bring the required skillset our friendly team would love to hear from you.

All new staff appointed to posts at the Trust will be subject to a 6 months probationary period. This will give new staff members an opportunity to become familiar with the culture and working environment of the Trust.
