EY has an established Audit Quality Programme (‘AQP’) which seeks to promote and drive improvements in audit quality. It is a high-profile programme both internally and externally which is sponsored by our UK Head of Audit. The programme reports to the Audit Quality Executive Committee (“Exco”), Audit Leadership Team and the EY Audit Board. There is great interest in the programme from EY’s Independent Non-Executives, our regulators and the investor community.The Opportunity:AQP are currently seeking to recruit an Administrator to support the team on various quality projects and general administration.As the AQP Administrator you will be involved in some of the following areas:Your key responsibilities:- Supporting Managers and Senior Managers on delivery of audit quality projects
- Running the preparation of the monthly Audit Quality Exco process which will involve contacting key stakeholders, arranging review meetings and collating papers for submission
- Data gathering and data analysis – using the available information from a variety of internal systems to support the team in reporting requests to EY Global, EY EMEIA and regulators
- Annual review of the AQP internal SharePoint site which will involve contacting the content owners for confirmation that the content is valid and up to date
- Monitoring and organising the AQP mailbox and communicating with relevant project managers on actions required
- Following up with audit teams on compliance of various processes
- Assisting Managers and Senior Managers with event organisation
- General administration which will include various support of data collation, arranging meetings and diary management for the overall team and other adhoc admin support as needed
- The ability to communicate and form networks with colleagues at all levels
- Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise a busy and often conflicting workload to meet deadlines
- Takes initiative, proactively solving problems
- Ability to deal professionally with confidential data
- Enjoyment of working with technology
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Professional approach, confident, credible, enthusiastic team player with a flexible ‘can do’ attitude
- Ability to learn new processes and skills quickly
- A desire to embrace and drive change whilst identifying and supporting process improvements and efficiencies
- A willingness to develop new skills through training and on the job coaching
