JOB MISSION:

New Balance are looking for an Associate Marketing Manager, Performance to build and develop best practice and strategy within the EMEA Running Team that can allow NB to achieve a ‘Leadership position in running’.

The successful candidate will also support on Sports Marketing for Running to ensure cohesive and consistent visibility for EMEA athletes across the region.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Identify and drive commercial brand opportunities to increase market share in performance categories.
  • Provide Pan European Key Account Management marketing support.
  • Develop an EMEA Seeding Strategy for both footwear and apparel.
  • Ensure strategic marketing alignment across region of Performance Global Business Unit.
  • Ensure understanding and alignment to winning in key sporting goods accounts and specialty retail.
  • Collaborate with owned DTC/Ecommerce to develop Below the Line asset support for key products.
  • Collaborative approach with key specialty accounts to deliver relevant/usable DTC/Ecommerce support.
  • EMEA Hospitality support at key NB partner events.
  • Develop seasonal Global All Terrain/Trail Assets.
  • Identify and manage local asset creation to supplement global asset base.
  • Co-ordinate key information between Global, Regional and Local New Balance Marketing Teams including football and performance GBU.
  • Working with EMEA Running Team to create a Running Summit/Elite Dealer Meeting/Product Showcase.
  • Ensure all global marketing assets are made available to all EMEA markets.
  • Work closely with event/product teams to support across all EMEA funded events.
  • Ensure consistency across all regional product assortments for local market athletes.
  • Point of contact for athlete trade marketing requests/opportunities across the region.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Brand Marketing experience in a similar role.
  • Experience working with external agencies and partners.
  • Performance Running knowledge.
  • Experience working with European Markets.
  • Experience working with athletes.
  • Large scale event activation.
  • Team Player.
  • Exceptional organisation, time & management skills.
  • High level communication skills and people first mindset.
  • Able to evaluate priorities.
  • Confident, assertive and polite.
