Assistant Quantity Surveyor, Sunderland - New House BuilderI am working with a National House Builder who is looking for a customer care coordinator to join their busy team during a very busy period.

Responsibilities
- Assisting the Quantity Surveyor in any financial aspects of allocated projects
- Ensure effective delivery of pre & post contract responsibilities in relation to planned projects programme
- Monitor and assist as necessary in the production of monthly valuations and cost reports in
- Assisting the production of cost reports and monthly valuations
- Provide accurate site measurement in accordance to allocated projects
- Production of accurate cash flows for allocated projects
- Assist in pre and post contractual cost planning and checking
- Ensure the completion of all contractual documents
- Attendance of external client meetings in collaboration to ensure accurate payments
- Establish, monitor and control effective financial procedures from inception to completion
- Experience in working with Commercial team to manage relationships with customers and stakeholders to drive financial performance
- Experience of assisting in controlling large budgets relating to investment and compliance works
- Experience in assisting the Commercial team managing contractors’ financial performance on allocated projects
- Demonstration of excellent negotiation and challenge skills to resolve issues
- Experience in monitoring unit costs and the evaluation of contract delivery
- Experienced in the planning process to minimize time and cost to drive financial efficiency
- Good level of numerical skills
- Knowledge and awareness of forms of contracts and cost reporting
- Effective organization, communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to use MS packages and computer literate (preferably familiar with open accounts/ebis systems)
- Good use of own initiative
- Collaborative attitude in working within a diverse workplace
- HND Qualified/ BSC in Quantity surveying or willingness to work towards
- 30,000-36,000 per annum - based upon experience
