Role Overview

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be the first point of contact for the company accounts.

The main function of the role is to provide an effective support service with core accountabilities including sales and purchase ledgers and also assisting with management accounting, cash flow and payment runs.

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for the day to day processing of the sales and purchase ledgers
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Prepare and process weekly payment runs
  • Post sales weekly into Xero and reconcile to IMS
  • Maintain cash flow forecast
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Account and statement reconciliations
  • Assisting with cash allocation when required
  • Ad hoc analysis as required by the business
  • Any other duties assigned by the Finance Manager

Essential Experience

  • Good knowledge of Xero software or equivalent
  • Proficient using Microsoft Excel
  • Proven knowledge of a similar role
