Our friendly Salisbury Office are looking for a part-qualified or fully-qualified Investment Manager to join their strongly knit, experienced team.
Having an existing client bank is not a pre-requirement for the role. Initially youll focus on day-to-day portfolio management, but in time, youll build up your own client bank, with the full support of the Senior Investment Managers within the office.
What could your day look like?
Within this regulated role youll be:
    • Supporting our existing Investment Managers with managing client portfolios in accordance with procedures & Investment process
    • Fostering strong relationships whilst maintaining an extremely high level of client care and service with clients and Introducers
    • Regular monitoring of client portfolios, conducting transactions to maintain portfolios suitable to clients investment objectives
    • Actioning all communications and instructions promptly and efficiently
    • Participating and contributing to our investment process and keeping up to date with market & investment information. Maintaining a working knowledge of relevant professional developments, ensuring that these are acted upon in the clients and the Companys interests

What do you need to be successful?
    • A minimum of a FCA recognised RDR level 4 qualification with a keen interest in investment markets are a must, along with great communication and organisational skills, and meticulous attention to detail. There is an expectation that the successful candidate will study for and attain their Level 6 qualification within an 18 month period, if not already held.
    • Experience of direct client contact and discretionary management of clients portfolios
    • Up to date knowledge of markets, asset-classes, and stocks/ funds, along with a desire to learn and a positive approach
