31218BRRole ResponsibilitiesThe Assistant Director, Innovation Engagement, is responsible for leading collaborative efforts to ensure the successful development, delivery, and maximum impact of the Client Engagement plan on Innovation. The role will lead activities across our various engagement channels to ensure flawless execution and a positive impact on customer experience and business outcomes. Reporting to the Director, of Innovation Engagement, key responsibilities include:
  • Lead Innovation external communication, design, and multi-channel outreach for customer engagement under limited oversight by the Director, Innovation Engagement.
  • Devise Innovation content strategies to grow awareness globally, enhance demand generation, and lead nurturing and client retention.
  • Provide regular impact reporting to Customer Experience & Innovation leaders.
  • Manage the innovation engagement blueprint and guidelines, ensuring consistent application across Moody’s Analytics.
  • Collaborate closely with Moody’s Communication and Marketing teams on promoting external Customer Experience & Innovation messaging, and help to get appropriate speaking slots in third-party conferences.
  • Provide long-form editorial support, and act as contributing editor of Innovation external publications (customer presentations, articles, press releases, social media engagement, webinars, etc.)
  • Take the lead role in enhancing social media effectiveness against key metrics in channels such as LinkedIn and Twitter.
  • Develop strategies, implement and evaluate Innovation communication campaigns do drive key metrics.
  • Lead idea generation and copyediting for Innovation campaigns, tying text and visuals together to create powerful, relevant messages.
  • Assist in management of select client digital communities, working closely with customer experience, product, sales and marketing teams across the company.
  • Devise strategies to enhance the information architecture and flow across innovation engagement channels including enhancing user experiences for key target personas.
Qualifications
  • This role is entirely focused on B2B customer engagement.
  • At least 5 years of professional services, product management, or, marketing is required.
  • This role demands significant critical thinking, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record is required, and a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • This role interacts with a variety of levels inside the firm. A history of successful interactions
  • with diverse stakeholders—and exceptional problem-solving skills—is required.
  • This role demands the ability to define strategic objectives, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring successful and timely outcomes of initiatives.
  • Knowledge of fixed-income markets, lending institutions, and risk management is a significant plus.
  • This role is focused on delivering compelling communication requiring in-depth knowledge of copyediting, marketing communication, and social media best practices.
  • This role requires a proven cross-disciplinary success as an innovation, marketing, branding, creative, and technology expert, involving complex workflows.
  • This role requires superb presentation and persuasion skills to lead strategy sessions with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in the Adobe Creative Suite as well as Microsoft Office.
