  • Responsible for ensuring that all RMP Units undergo an annual policing assurance check and subsequently to produce a detailed report of findings and initiate remedial actions as required.
  • Evaluate RMP Policing lessons learnt and co-ordinate a procedure to ensure timely amendment of policy and review of training.
  • Use Service Police IT systems and other IT related material to remotely supervise and assess RMP investigation activity against current legislation and doctrine to advise SO1 Inv & Pol of any policing deficiency or unsatisfactory performance.
  • Act as desk lead and focal point for REDCAP/COPPERS/CONNECT IT system matters.
  • Compile the Tri-Service Police Daily Crime Briefing Document and provide updates on cases of interest.
  • Provide a monthly legal adviser return to AFCLAA and investigate any irregularities or challenges submitted by solicitors.
  • Collate and analyse crime and policing statistics as the need arises.
  • Collate and disseminate Court Martial results to investigating units.
  • Compile and disseminate Better Case Management (BCM) statistics to stakeholders.
  • Travel to various units in the UK and overseas
