  • Assist the Lead Scheduler in producing the Teesside 12 week lookahead schedule by resource level loading and maintaining their area schedules to a given resource pool.
  • Responsible for developing and controlling a detailed maintenance execution schedule within their assigned R&M area - 2 week lookahead
  • Generate resource histograms to identify manning levels for their area R&M work
  • Identifying and evaluating associated schedule, resource conflicts & issues and highlighting them to the Area Delivery Team
  • Interacting with site teams to obtain schedule updates during the delivery phase
  • Own, monitor and manage SAP MWC in their given area and issue priorities to Field Planners (based on client priorities) on a Daily and Weekly basis.
  • Manage the work allocation to Field Planners in their given area
  • Execute the Area Scheduler role iaw the Client’s workflow management process – MEMS 06.04
  • Utilise the Client’s CMMS (SAP) for the electronic management of all Work Orders
  • Develop and issue resource allocation reports as requested by the Lead Scheduler or MDM
  • Deputise for the Lead Scheduler and Area Schedulers as/when required
  • Sole responsibility for a Work Order during the scheduling & execution element of Workflow
  • Conduct Site visits for the purpose of scheduling and to identify potential SIMOPS.
  • Liaise with the key stakeholders during the construction of the schedule – Engineering, Task Owner, Ops (OSS), 3rd Party Contractors, Material Suppliers
  • Chair and drive periodic Schedule Meetings as required
  • Have the ability to campaign schedule when working to SAP Revision Codes and Work Types
  • Prepare “Early Warnings” and advise the MDM/Lead Scheduler of any significant issues or delays during the scheduling phase
  • Manage and housekeep Primavera as to ensure proper alignment to SAP (Activity Codes and Key Dates etc)
  • Record and feedback any changes in Task Lists during execution phase to allow amendments to be made in SAP and P6
  • Manage holds in workflow to ensure all materials/sub contractors and resources are available prior to work being scheduled and baselined
  • Be prepared to attend JSA’s or HAZOP studies when requested
  • Provide periodic activity reports for scheduling progress
  • Engage in internal audit programmes in support of the Contract
  • Ability to work on challenging timelines and have the agility to readily switch focus when priorities change
  • Demonstrate a pro-active approach to the role through the identification of improvement opportunities
