Our client is a highly successful and leading timber company, they have doubled their turnover since 2009 and have gone on to win a number of prestigious business awards. They supply both UK and Irish markets with products for the construction, pallet wood and fencing industries. It also manufactures timber frame homes and engineered roof trusses. Due to their success they have an immediate vacancy for an Area Sales Manager to cover the South East Area. The role will essentially be selling into National and Independent Merchants and Buying Groups where you will build strong relationships to deliver allocated sales targets and KPI’s. You will manage existing accounts which you will develop and you will also proactively source new customers and open new accounts. A field sales background selling Timber would be beneficial, failing that any sales experience in other related construction products selling into Merchants and Buying Groups would be good.
