We are the Government’s national housing agency. Our role is to accelerate the pace of house-building across the country, particularly in areas where there are the most serious affordability issues – meaning people are struggling to find homes.

Job Description

You will be joining our talented and experienced team of people, who are committed to making positive change in how we support & enable on the ground Investments and Infrastructure Grants delivery teams in the achievement of their targets and activity.

Delivery Management is dedicated to delivering a first-class customer service, taking an innovative and creative approach to problem solving and help to create new processes and improve data integrity. Michael values diversity in experience and perspective to foster good decision making and problem solving within their team.

The role includes the following key responsibilities.

To administer the key infrastructure grants systems including creating new records, updating projects to reflect decision outcomes and supporting exercises to validate the systems data

To undertake day-to-day administrative activities for the team that support effective and efficient fund delivery

Collaborating with colleagues in DES and the Infrastructure Grants team to improve business processes and quality of information.

Support senior managers in the analysis and preparation of performance reporting/ presentational material.

Provide ad hoc support to the Delivery & DES teams

ResponsibilitiesWhilst our day job is to deliver first class customer service to our stakeholders, you will be used to "spinning several plates" at once and will always be looking for ways to improve and innovate.

We are looking for a candidate with a “can do” attitude who possesses the following skills and experience.

Excellent analytical & data visualisation skills – a strong attention to detail is required

Experience in administering programme or project management systems

Ability to work under pressure and at pace to achieve deadlines within tight timescales

Proficiency in the use of appropriate IT systems
