The Vacancy

The Software Development function at De La Rue, provides agile development services for multiple customers and internal stakeholders, across a range of key software products across the business.

As an Agile Delivery Lead, you will form part of a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary agile product team ensuring that we deliver high quality applications. We develop simple but highly effective web applications, and are passionate about writing good quality, highly testable, user-driven software. Our software uses modern technologies, consisting of mainly angular front-ends using a combination of TypeScript and JavaScript, with backend C# Web API RESTful services.

We are looking for candidates who can work with collaborative product teams and lead on agile and lean practices that enable those teams to collaborate and deliver value for customers and the business as efficiently as possible.

To be successful in the role you will need a strong understanding of the full software testing lifecycle & methodologies with experience of Functional, Integration and Regression testing. You will be recognised as a leader and expert in Agile, (SAFe, Scrum and Kanban), and you will leverage this skill to stamp your mark on all aspects of our transformational journey to ensure that our teams are ‘being Agile’ and not just ‘doing Agile’. In addition you will demonstrate a strong understanding of software delivery and the principles and practices of BDD & TDD and must have experience working with secure systems.
