Advanced Practitioner in English and Maths £24,379-£27,262pa salary for unqualified Lecturers £28,763-£37,952pa salary for qualified Lecturers. Salaries inclusive of London Weighting and based on Teaching and Learning grade Full Time, Permanent 36 hours, 52 weeks per year Based at Enfield for teaching but will be required to travel to other campuses as part of the roleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Practitioner for English and Maths. This is a post to drive quality improvement in English and maths. In exchange for highly developed teaching skills, the post holder will receive the full support of the College’s management team and salary to recognise their outstanding skills. They will have excellent communication skills and be approachable when dealing with students and colleagues. They will work with less experienced colleagues to ensure high levels of attainment in math and English across the College. The ideal candidate will deliver outstanding teaching to students in GCSE maths and a Certificate in maths as required, ensuring that achievement and the learner experience are exceptional and modelling excellent practice. They will Peer observe, develop and improve the practice of teachers to raise the standard of teaching and learning across the English and maths department. They will also lead on assessment and Internal Verification processes, develop resources for students and teachers, promote independent learning and engagement with digital learning and contribute to the department’s Self-Assessment processes. They will have a passion for teaching and for sharing their knowledge and experience. Strong administrative skills will be required to underpin all aspects of teaching and learning.
