An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Administrator and Accounts Assistant for a company based near Chippenham. You must be numerate, IT literate, and organised. The position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain experience, knowledge and an understanding of all aspects of the business supporting the Finance Controller in functions including Accounts, IT, Logistics and Administration.

Typical Accounts tasks might include:

  • Assisting with accounts payable and receivable
  • Undertaking bank reconciliations
  • Credit control
  • Placing orders
  • Cashflow forecasts
  • Financial reports

Typical Administrative responsibilities might include:

  • Data entry
  • Taking charge of orders and liaising with the customer and suppliers
  • Assisting with general administrative tasks.

Skills & Experience

  • Organised, accurate and reliable, high computer literacy, knowing when to ask questions and also the ability to work independently.
  • Methodical with an attention to detail
  • Experience in working within an accounts department
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of using Sage
  • Good IT skills including Excel

Desirable

· French speaker

The role is part-time, around 8 to 12 hours per week, and details on the working arrangement can be discussed further at interview. Remote working with occasional visits to the office.
