Student Academic and Administration (SAA) are looking to recruit two Administrative Officers to join the Administration and Assessment Team in the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences.

The Administration and Assessment teams act as a first point of contact for educational matters and support aspects of the student lifecycle from induction through to graduation, including maintenance of student records and support for all assessment related processes. You will work closely with the Senior Administrative Officer to ensure effective and professional support for all processes. You will liaise with academic staff and other colleagues across the SAA workstream.

You will be an excellent team player with a proven ability to work proactively. You will be patient, friendly, well organised and adaptable, taking a positive and proactive approach to managing a busy workload. Excellent communication, organisational and inter-personal skills are required, as is a commitment to providing an excellent service. You will be a proficient user of Microsoft Office and have experience of using databases to input, maintain, manipulate and interpret data.

This is an entry level role in higher education administration that would suit a recent graduate or an individual with relevant experience seeking to make a career change into the higher education sector.

At present, in addition to some on-campus working where/if the business need requires, you would be expected to mostly work remotely in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
