About The Role

The Digital Experience team are looking to recruit an Administrative Assistant to join the team on a full-time basis to provide general day to day support to the Director of Digital Experience and the Heads within the department. It is a varied role and will include organisation of meetings, minute taking for various user groups/boards/committees, budget monitoring, ordering equipment, overseeing software contract renewals, responding to stakeholder queries and providing general advice & guidance on operational matters to all team members.

This is an exciting opportunity for somebody who would like to be part of a future looking, user experience and digital transformation focused team that supports both staff and students in getting the most out of technology.

About You

The ideal candidate will be proficient in the use of O365 to support team operations, especially in use of MS Teams, SharePoint Outlook, Word and PowerPoint, with a passion for the use of technology to streamline business processes. You will be an excellent team player, well organised and a good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
Alongside these core qualities, we are looking to hear from candidates who have the following skills/experience:

  • Good level of experience in providing administrative support for a large team or in a large project management function/environment

  • Experience of undertaking formal group/committee administrative duties

  • Good working knowledge of Office365 for document management and collaborative working
