We are seeking to appoint an Administration Assistant to support the Council’s Culture & Events Team This is an exciting and unique time to join a very fast paced, responsive and dynamic team.

Bradford has launched a bid to be UK City of Culture in 2025 as part of a far-reaching set of cultural plans to reposition Bradford. We will be launching the new Bradford District 10-year Cultural Strategy called ‘Culture is Our Plan’ on 20th May 2021.
Key Purpose of Post:

  • The post holder will assist in the provision of a flexible, proficient and constructive administrative and reception service dealing with generic and service specific duties.
  • To assist with planning and management of the City Park events programme, grants programme and other arts and culture projects. Liaising with all contacts across relevant sectors (including private sector and community organisations).
  • To work directly with outside agencies, contractors, artists and other Council departments in assisting in the delivery of individual projects and events.
  • To deal with and resolve requests for advice/help.
  • To procure goods, services and grants for the Cultural & Events Team.
