Chicken Guard is a company based in the village of Fulbourn, just outside of Cambridge. Over the past few years the company has experienced tremendous growth, allowing it to establish itself as the world’s leading manufacturer of Automatic Chicken Coop Door Openers. With over 60,000 customers across 56 countries, and a continuously growing community of trade partners across the globe; Chicken Guard now requires an Administrative Assistant to support the Accounts and Logistics departments in various tasks.

The Main Duties Will Include

Administrative Duties
  • Ordering, tracking and maintaining stock levels of key materials and components
  • Sorting post
  • Maintaining stock of office supplies and placing orders
Accounts Duties
  • Maintaining the company’s purchase order system
  • Entering purchase invoices on to the online accountancy system
  • Generating and sending sales invoices
  • Assisting with the company’s credit control process
  • Processing employee expense claims and directors’ charge cards
  • Processing customer card payments over the phone
  • Processing refunds
  • Placing orders for various supplies, as well as assisting with the booking of various travel and accommodation requirements
The chosen candidate must have a keen eye for detail, be highly organised and show a willingness to learn.

As part of the role, you would be included in the company’s annual bonus scheme.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £20,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
