Page Personnel are working with a well known and continuously growing business within the Manufacturing industry. They are looking for a Purchase Ledger Accounts Assistant to join their team at an exciting time for the business.

Job Description

Accounts Assistant responsibilities include:

  • Manual input of supplier invoices for multiple companies
  • Running automatic purchase invoice matching for all trade counter branches
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements to aged creditors reports
  • Resolution of supplier queries
  • Liaising with suppliers on payment dates and sending remittances
  • Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing supplier details
  • General filing of invoices and statements
  • Preparing daily banking
  • Occasionally helping with other roles within Finance Department (e.g credit control)

The Successful Applicant

The candidate will/be

  • Experience working within a similar role - Required
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal - Required
  • High attention to detail - Required
  • Experience using Sage 50 - Desirable
  • Strong interpersonal, time-management and organisational skills - Required
  • Be proactive and show initiative - Required
