Basis: 37 hours per week, Temporary Maternity Cover (Potential to become permanent)
Salary: £18,422 – £19,408 (A14 – A17) per annum

Reaseheath College in Nantwich is one of the UK’s leading specialist land-based colleges with over 3000 full-time students and 800+ residential students in Further Education, Higher Education and Apprentices. The College has an annual turnover of £36M and employs 700 staff.

The College has a vacancy for an Accounts Assistant within the Finance Department. The role is initially cover for maternity but there may be the possibility of a permanent role.
The role requires experience of working in a similar Finance position and an AAT qualification is desirable. Training on the College Finance system will be given but a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages is essential.

The role focuses on the purchase ledger in the main with some additional finance duties. Whilst experience of this area is preferred other finance experience could be considered. A good knowledge of finance processes and controls is essential as well as the ability to undertake reconciliations.

The successful candidate should show accuracy and attention to detail along with the ability to plan and prioritise work to meet deadlines.

Please note this role constitutes ‘regulated activity��� as defined by the Protection of Freedom Act 2012. The successful candidate will therefore be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check with barred list information prior to starting employment. You must have the right to work in the UK and will be required to provide evidence to support this.
