With a fine eye for detail and a conscientious attitude, you’ll provide invaluable support to the National Finance and Administration Department and take a closer look at how the company is performing. Your role is about keeping our day-to-day accounting processes up to date. This includes ensuring our suppliers are paid on time, reconciling bank accounts, payroll and corporate accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work within our Non-Merchandise Accounts Team.
  • Support the development of the team in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Take a closer look at how Aldi is performing and share best practice knowledge with our international business.
  • Act as a reliable point of contact for any related queries.

Essential Skills Required:

  • AAT/CIMA qualification.
  • Relevant accounts experience.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Inputting data quickly and accurately.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Driven individual.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritise workload.
  • Self-motivated and works effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Well organised.
  • Works in a structured, methodical manner.
  • Takes personal responsibility for resolving queries and issues.
  • Uses initiative.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel.
  • Clear communicator.
  • Team player.

Desirable Skills Required:

  • SAP experience is preferred.

  • Salary starting from £32,075, rising to £37,455.
  • 5-day/40-hour week, working Monday- Friday.
