Job Title: Accountant – Car DealershipLocation: Hessle, HullSalary: Up to £34,000 (depending on experience) + bonus – OTE Up to £38,000 + benefits + Company CarFull Time and Permanent - Monday – Friday 08:30-17:30Previous Accounting experience within the Motor Trade is essential so please only apply if you have worked in an accounting role within the Motor TradeOur client is an award-winning dealership is looking for an experienced Dealership Accountant to join their team in Hessle. This is an amazing opportunity to take your skills to the next level and join an organisation with an excellent reputation and excellent staff benefits.The Dealership Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the effective operation of the accounts department, producing accurate management accounts to group timescales and ensuring balance sheet reconciliation’s are completed in line with group procedures.The Main Responsibilities Of The Role Will Include
  • Monthly management accounts - providing detailed analysis and commentary which will involve liaison with the Divisional Finance Director
  • Collation and examination of the purchase and sales ledger information from the centralised accounting department.
  • Analytical support across the business, evaluating profit optimisation
  • Monitoring performance measurement tools and techniques for projects to form an end conclusion.
  • Review of capital and project appraisals.
  • Consolidation of group budgets and forecasts.
  • Investigative and analytical exercises as required
Requirements
  • Have previous experience working in an Automotive Accounting setting
  • Demonstrate a good standard of computer skills
  • Be well organized and show a methodical approach to their workload
  • Be a natural problem solver with a good eye for detail
  • Show a great team player mentality
