ACCOUNT HANDLER

PENRITH

Weatherbys Hamilton are looking for Account Handler to join us on a full time, permanent basis in Penrith. You will join out private client division which looks after an extensive portfolio of high-profile clients across the country.

WHY JOIN US?

We are looking to offer a competitive salary of between £25,000 to £30,000 per annum DOE. In addition, you will receive 23 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing by 1 day for each full year served up to a maximum of 27 days. WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

  • Provide insurance quotations for clients and interacting with insurers in obtaining them
  • Prepare and issuing renewal invitations
  • Process risks on our internal systems, preparing and checking policy documentation
  • Produce invoices and assisting with the collection of premiums
  • Arrange the provision of premium finance where requested by clients
  • Speak with clients on the telephone, answering client queries and taking instructions
  • Liaise with insurers, surveyors, loss adjustors and the like on all relevant issues
  • Assist other team members in seeking resolution to client queries

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Insurance sector experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to use Microsoft Suite including Excel
  • An ability to work to tight deadlines and work under pressure
  • Acting at all times in a compliant manner and in accordance with WH’s procedures
  • Cooperating with WH Partners and staff in all its offices in a friendly, positive, and cooperative manner
