Role and ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a motivated Account Executive to join our Business Aviation Training Centre in Burgess Hill.With approximately 13,000 employees located in 35 countries, CAE is a global leader in training for the civil aviation, defence and security, and healthcare markets.SummaryBook existing Business Aviation Client Training, ensuring a high level of customer services is adhered to, proactively ensure the fulfilment of the BAT Sales Strategy and targets in the development of the allocated territory.Essential Duties
  • Responsible for company and client retention within an assigned territory maximising retention of pre-existing revenue.
  • Book existing client training events comparing and evaluating course prerequisites with client qualifications, course availability and document the client’s expectations clearly to Training Services through accurate and proper registration of training
  • Diarising recurrent training events and following up to ensure fulfilment.
  • Up-sell ancillary training courses that add value to overall client training.
  • Negotiate pricing agreements with clients and make contract/pricing decisions based on set guidelines.
  • Monitor client training events through to completion and provide customer service.
  • Clearly communicate payment terms to clients and assist in collection of payments to include assisting with client check in and collect COD payments.
  • Proactively ensure fulfilment of the Company sales strategy and targets.
  • Prospecting for new clients as required.
  • Directly coordinate training commitments with Training Services Department to provide a training solution for clients.
  • Responsible for ensuring accurate client data is entered into Sales Force and Gemini
The ideal candidate brings previous experience in delivering a high-level customer service in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a sales minded and driven individual who feels motivated by working towards and meeting sales targets.Skills/Experience
  • Aviation experience desirable.
  • Experience with Salesforce or equivalent client database software would be an advantage.
  • The ability to converse in a second language would be an advantage.
  • Must be able to live/work in the UK
  • This role requires weekend and public holiday working. The team ensure a minimum of 1 person departmental coverage on any weekend day but will only be expected to work 5 days per week. Bank holidays are considered “working days” (with the exception of Christmas Day and on some occasions, Boxing Day which gets reviewed each year). Account Executives can book public holidays off but the department needs to have adequate coverage.
