2nd Line Support - Permanent role - £30k-£31k

Your new company
This is a large manufacturing company, with headquarters in Sweden and offices across EMEA.

Your new role
This role will involve being the site’s primary and secondary contact, being the designated 1st level staff member responsible for the assigned sites within the region as stated in the site contact list on SharePoint. You will take the lead on all IT Infrastructure related support tasks, change requests, planned activities, projects, budget planning and other delegated tasks as well as for other business needs.

You will also collaborate with the IT Operations team especially with the Secondary IT Site contact person to achieve common and individual goals and to keep the business up and running.

You will also perform daily server backups, data restoration, ensure proper functionality of all network and related devices and the WAN connection, and propose actions plans, including budget planning and schedule.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Experience in a 1st and/or 2nd line support role on a service desk
  • Excellent SharePoint knowledge
  • Experience with Servers, PBX/VOIP, Network Switches, UPS, Cooling System, Access protection, etc
  • Network and server experience
  • Data restoration experience
  • Exceptional people and communication skills
