We are currently looking to grow our already established and dedicated team of waking night support workers in Southport

  • 9:45pm - 7:45am

Main Duties And Responsibilities

As a Night Support Worker, you will be responsible for: -
  • Safeguarding and protecting young people and their wellbeing from harm and exploitation at all times and adhering to safeguarding procedures at all times.
  • To act as an appropriate adult and role model to all young people within SYF’s care and ensure that all records, daily logs and all other records are completed and maintained fully up to date.
  • Promoting a positive safe and homely environment for all young people within SYF’s care. To work in accordance with SYF Mission statement, values, policies’ and procedures.
  • Engaging with and building relationships with young people
  • Basic administrative tasks
  • Complete nightly cleaning tasks in the home as directed
  • Maintain confidentiality of young people and report any concerns regarding the young person’s welfare to your line manager.
  • Mandatory attendance and participation in team meetings and training sessions as and when required.
We do and we are passionate about providing excellent care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, Prader-Willi Syndrome or mental health conditions. As a support worker, you will have the opportunity to be part of 1000s of stories of inspiring care and support for our residents.

As a support worker you will be supporting our residents with their day to day lives, encouraging them to live as independently as possible. You may get involved in exciting activities outside of the home too - our residents participate in day trips, charity events and much more!
