The API Manager reports into the Head of Digital and is the primary contact for our partners, using Paymentshield’s APIs to build powerful and valuable integrations to embed general insurance.

How will you do it?

You will work closely with our external business partnerships who are looking to integrate with us, documenting and defining business requirements and technical specifications. This includes developing a deep understanding of our partner integrations, gaining knowledge of their platforms and the user experience.

With previous experience in a similar role, you will be confident in onboarding and optimising new API partners, as well as managing existing partners integrations and performance. You will also be auditing integration and performance, and providing regular reporting and forecasts to our partners.

You need to be a self-starter with excellent communication skills as you will be working with both developers and our partners’ product experts. Your experience will include writing clear specifications in collaboration with design and development, and you need to be comfortable in dealing with third parties and project managing technical implementation.

Constantly striving to achieve more, you will hold in-depth technical calls about the Paymentshield API and integration options to new strategic partnerships. You’ll also provide technical support and solutions to external partners in close collaboration with our IT Scrum teams and Sales teams. Most importantly, you will champion the ongoing development and needs of our strategic partners.
