Northampton (Remote/Hybrid Working)

One of the world’s most highly renowned financial institutions and UK’s top banks are currently seeking a creative and adaptable Solutions Designer (AVP) to work within the company’s Digital Banking and Innovation Capability, located in Northampton. You role will be to convert business requirements into E2E technical solutions by producing architectural designs across a series of strategic and regulatory initiatives (Systems Integrations, IT Infrastructure, Solutions Designs).

Solutions Designer Responsibilities include:

  • You will run and assure the design delivery of multiple projects, ensuring they achieve their outcomes to plan. Collaborate with the relevant Programme Managers, Product Owners, Lead Solution Designers & Architects, Business Analysts or Technology Partners to create innovative Digital solutions that meet business requirements and customer’s needs.

Essential Solutions Designer Experience:

  • Extensive experience creating technology solutions meet business need, deliverable within reasonable constraints & correspond to organisational strategic guidance
  • Application integration/implementation issues & their architectural implications (Domain Driven Architecture, scalability, security)
  • Infrastructure patterns with direct experience of operational function of core architecture components (Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Load Balancers)
  • Data solutions & data architecture best practice (SQL/NoSQL technologies, Data Driven Design, ETL platforms, OLAP/OLTP systems, etc.)
  • IT Security patterns, considerations, best practice (OWasp)
  • Software delivery & deployment patterns (CI/CD)
  • Data solutions & data architecture best practice (SQL/NoSQL technologies, Data Driven Design, ETL platforms, OLAP/OLTP systems)

Solutions Designer Benefits Package:
