Hickory’sare looking to recruit a Senior Sous Chefto join our team. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and you will receive a competitive salary of £28,000 - £30,000per annum, PLUS earn up to an extra £5000 with our ’Tip Jar!’

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Sous Chef. You will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef with the day to day running of the kitchen, as well as stocks and management of the kitchen team. Our successful Sous Chef must be hands on and lead by example demonstrating the ability to support the Head Chef with motivating a team.

We are looking for a career driven professional Chef who is passionate about what they do. In return we will offer you the opportunity to drive your career to the next level as Head Chef of one of our venues.

Essential

requirements of a successful Hickory’s Senior Sous Chef:
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a fast--paced restaurant environment
  • Developing and training the kitchen team to a high standard to maximise both food service and bottom line profits
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Strong passion for food and for customer satisfaction
  • Possess excellent organisational and leadership skills, be flexible and adaptable in your approach to work and you should be reliable and punctual
