About You


Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Execute the performance marketing strategy across paid social, affiliates and emerging opportunity channels such as Pinterest and TikTok to drive acquisition of new customers whilst developing a strong retention strategy
  • Use segmented audiences from our customer data in Ometria to retarget lapsed / high value users on Facebook and other social channels
  • Work with the CRM team and in partnership with the Google and Bing Ads Senior Executive to align audience segmentation and targeting with search strategy
  • Refine and expand the audience approach using insights from our customer base and by evaluating the success of historical campaigns in order to expand our reach
  • Work closely with the Brand Marketing Manager to activate campaigns using influencer content
  • Work collaboratively with the Brand marketing and Creative teams to deliver best in class integrated multichannel digital marketing campaigns
  • Fully manage hands-on day-to-day paid campaign activities within Facebook and other social management tools: bid management, use of automation, performance monitoring, campaign expansion, account restructures and segmentation, etc.
  • Fully manage the Affiliates network account with support of the Performance Marketing Manager. Attend weekly calls, action the minutes and support on commission approvals and manage invoices and budget with consideration of ROI
  • Build and deliver relevant weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting with insights
  • Use a range of campaigns to achieve acquisition and retention goals; DPAs, prospecting, remarketing, drive loyalty of existing customers
  • Leverage technical tools and quantitative data to optimise channel performance
  • Adopt a test and learn approach to all aspects of social media management; creative, audience, channel
  • Manage the day-to-day execution and up keep of the paid social and affiliates roadmaps and testing plans, as well as analysing results and developing actionable insights
  • Keep the marketing calendar up to date with paid social and affiliates activity
  • Consider a mix of measures when evaluating social media performance; spend and CPO, brand and conversion uplift, halo effect on organic social, influencer reach
  • Use social listening tool to report on halo effect of social media campaigns and garner insights for social media campaigns

Skills and Knowledge

The Performance Marketing Planner is expected to have the following skills and knowledge:

  • 2+ years experience within a similar role
  • 1+ years agency experience with hands-on experience in implementing and running paid social campaigns
  • Experience working with affiliates is desired though not essential
  • Highly numerate and data driven/results-orientated individual
  • Has an eye for creative and content execution
  • Understands how to recognise and leverage social and consumer insights
