DescriptionMulti-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias)HalifaxSalary (43k - 45k dependent on experience)+ benefitsIf you’re looking to continue a career in Engineering and want to join our market-leading company, then this is a great opportunity for you!We’re currently looking for a hard-working and experienced Multi-Skilled Engineerwith aMechanical bias, to join our busy Maintenance Team at our production site in Halifax and begin your future in our Marshalls family.So, what’s the role about?Working as part of the team, your main responsibilities will be to ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating engineering downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenance of equipment.The current shift pattern is working 4 on and 4 off, 2 nights, 2 days rotating. (7 am – 7 pm) the shift pattern will be discussed during the interview process, As part of a team you will also ensure Health & Safety regulations are adhered to, company policies are followed, and departmental and site KPIs are met. Promoting continuous improvement (CI) and using it to better the department and site.What are the skills required?
  • Determination to succeed
  • Excellent fault-finding skills
  • The ideal applicant will be a qualified, time-served apprentice trained in an engineering discipline, ideally to NVQ level 3.
  • Ideally multi-skilled
  • Mechanically biased
  • Skilled at ARC welding
  • Experience in hydraulics would be a benefit
  • Self-motivated
  • Forward-thinking and planning work/improvements
  • Work in a team and on your own
