Modern Workplace Programme Manager

Bristol(hybrid working pattern, 2 days per week in office & rest from home) (We’re open to people working in Manchester, Leeds, London or Edinburgh).

Salary & Benefits: £62-£84K base salary, depending on location and experience.

Within Modern Workplace we’re looking for a Programme Manager to join the Centre of Excellence.

This role will enable you to be at the very centre of this transformation, defining not only how we best utilise our technology to support our colleagues, but also how we can build and grow our colleagues skills. Our team is charged with making LBG a cool place to work, wherever you work, by connecting colleagues with the latest technology and tools and providing a first-class user experience for IT help and support.

As a Modern Workplace Programme Manager

You’ll be responsible for leading projects across some of our newly formed labs. We also work with several business areas and help support them deliver change.

We’re looking for someone to join our team who has a passion for utilising technology to transform our organisation.

You’ll work with our outcome owners to ensure they are delivering results that drive value, feeding into the Quarterly Business Review and regular Platform planning sessions

About the role

We have adopted a mix of Agile & Waterfall programme delivery, using modern DevOps engineering practices.

You’ll carry out a range of programme management activities including meaningful partner engagement, planning & resource management, risk & issue management, 3rd party management, plus mentoring change staff in your teams.

You’ll determine what our colleagues need through a combination of user research, collecting feedback from cross-functional teammates, diving into data, and competitive analysis.

You’ll drive value, that deliver legal or regulatory commitments, and technical improvements and enablers to improve performance and resilience.

You’ll also play a part in the Quarterly Business Planning review meetings to ensure that the team is focusing on the right outcomes and objectives each quarter.

What we’re looking for

  • A background within Programme Management, with experience of technical & non-technical change programmes.
  • Line management experience
  • Strong engagement experience, within a matrixed org.
  • Experience delivering projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Good knowledge of handling costs, plans, risks, issues, and opportunities
  • Advocating and proudly championing colleague experience in all associated communities
