Link2 Resource is currently recruiting a Mechanical Fitter with a basic Machining or Toolmaking ability for an expanding Manufacturing Business based in the Elsham area,

Our Client manufactures bespoke products for a range of National Businesses and have a state-of-the-art facility based in Elsham, the team consists of innovative designers and Engineers and a full Lab and Production Team. They are a family run business with a Culture and work ethic that are second to none.

Key responsibilities
  • Set and operate conventional Milling Machines.
  • Basic Workshop fitting duties
  • Maintain and monitor machine to make sure it functions properly
  • Train and learn Maintenance on Production machinery
  • Conduct quality checks and take responsibility for manufacture of quality products
  • Adjust machine as needed for changeovers, different functions, or other varying needs
  • Accurately perform production tasks, to tight deadlines
  • Support in basic Machine Breakdowns when required
  • Raise issues/problems promptly to Line Manager
  • Consider health and safety in day-to-day activity (adheres to training and instruction given)
The candidate
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable working to fine tolerances
  • Experience setting and operating Manual Machinery
  • Operation of miscellaneous workshop equipment
  • Reading and accurately interpreting engineering drawings to set up machine
  • Efficient, good work ethic, with general practical skills
