Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Brigg / Scunthorpe Salary £36,000-£37,000 pa Shift Pattern: 4-on, 4-off, (4 x 12-hour days, 4 x 12-hour nights). We are supporting a leading food producer to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers who will play a vital role in keeping the plant and machinery running and maintained. This company manufacture quality food products for Foodservice and Major Retailers. The Engineer appointed will join a well-established department and will quickly become key members of the Engineering team. Job Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to optimise machinery efficiency and keep downtime to a minimum.
  • Collaborate with a team of skilled maintenance engineers, reporting to the Engineering Manager and Maintenance Manager.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to maintain and repair a range of equipment, including scales, weighers, boilers, cooking vessels, conveyors, vertical form fillers, sachet fillers, vacuum sealers, bottle fillers, hoppers, spiral freezers, PLCs, and inverter drives. Qualifications and Experience:
  • Previous experience working as a maintenance engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Apprentice-trained candidates with City and Guilds or HNC qualifications are highly desired.
  • Electrical bias. Salary & Benefits:
  • Salary of 36,000-£37,000 per annum, including shift allowance.
  • Overtime pay at x1.5 rate.
  • 23 days of annual leave.
