LOGISTICS MANAGER / SERVICE DELIVERY SUPERVISOR REQUIRED FROM A TRANSPORT, LOGISTICS OR WAREHOUSING DISPATCH BACKGROUND TO MANAGE 3RD PARTY LOGISTICS HAULIERS AND LEAD A SMALL CUSTOMER SERVICE & ADMINISTRATION TEAM IN A BUSY OPERATIONS ENVIRONMENT

TITLE: Logistics Team Supervisor / Transport Service Delivery Manager

SALARY: Circa £35K DOE, plus Enhanced Pension & Healthcare

LOCATION: Near Brigg

HOURS: Monday to Friday Days (Office Based)

ROLE: Logistics Team Supervisor / Transport Service Delivery Manager

You will work within and oversee a small Customer Service and Administration function

You will oversee management of 3PL / 3rd Party Logistics hauliers providing transport for dispatched goods ensuring they are meeting agreed service levels

You will negotiate rates with suppliers

You will ensure accuracy of data entry and administration

As there is no in house fleet you do not require a detailed knowledge of compliance but will be required to visit and audit suppliers on occasion so a basic understanding would be useful.

EXPERIENCE: Logistics Team Supervisor / Transport Service Delivery Manager

You will have experience working in a transport or logistics environment such as warehousing, haulage, courier services, distribution, dispatch, 3PL

You will have a UK driving licence

You will have excellent IT and admin skills and be confident in operating bespoke software packages.
