We are seeking to appoint a Hearing Support Specialist to support the learning, educational progress and inclusion of pupils with a hearing impairment, with the aim of narrowing any attainment gap they have with their hearing peers.

The successful candidate will give support to children and young people with a hearing impairment so that they can access the curriculum, participate in learning, experience a sense of achievement and develop independence in learning and other aspects of school life. The successful candidate will work under the direction of a Teacher of the Deaf - being ’partners’ in supporting the pupils’ access to learning and meeting their specific learning needs.
