We are currently recruiting for Functional Skills Maths Tutors to provide short and long-term cover in further education establishments across the Calderdale area.

About the role

This would be an ideal opportunity for a tutor who is looking for a flexible work schedule or who would like a return to the classroom.

The successful candidate will have an excellent knowledge of the curriculum and will be able to plan innovative and engaging lessons that will meet the needs of children with a variety of abilities. You must also be approachable, inspiring, enthusiastic and be able to quickly build relationships. This is a great time to join us and become part of our committed teaching team.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Functional Skills Maths you will:

  • Hold a recognised teaching qualification
  • Be adaptable and flexible
  • Have some knowledge or previous experience teaching the functional skills curriculum
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
