Position: Nursery Nurse
Location: Loughborough and Surrounding Areas

Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

Are you an experienced Nursery Nurse with a thorough understanding of the Early Years Framework? Do you have a passion for nurturing young minds from the baby room to preschool? If so, we want to hear from you!

About Us:

We are a mainstream primary school in Loughborough dedicated to providing exceptional early years education. Our aim is to provide experienced EYFS Teaching Assistants/Nursery Nurses to support a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can thrive and develop a love for learning.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Implement activities in line with the Early Years Framework to support children’s learning and development from the baby room to preschool.
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
  • Observe and assess children’s progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in collaboration with the Early Years team.
  • Support children’s social and emotional development, fostering positive relationships and behavior.
  • Ensure compliance with all safeguarding and health and safety policies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Nursery Nurse, with comprehensive knowledge of the Early Years Framework.
  • Experience working across different age groups, from the baby room to preschool.
  • Relevant qualifications in Early Years Education or Childcare.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
