We are recruiting for a Digital Learning Specialist to join the Learning & Development team! Your primary responsibility is to work with our business to create, design and develop digital learning solutions. You will also support delivery of the L&D strategy; to enable new and existing co-members to reach their full potential, both personally and professionally, through the design and development of new and existing training solutions.

Reporting to: L&D Project Manager

Location: Northampton or Manchester, with travel to Reed offices as needed for training (please note that we offer hybrid working)

Hours:37.5 hours a week, Monday – Friday

Your new role…

To support the delivery of the L&D strategy through the design and development of engaging and interactive learning solutions via multiple online learning mediums. You will support the adoption and development of our learning technology (LMS365) to create an exceptional learning experience for our co-members. Your role will also include sales skills, customer service and soft skills training to enable both new and existing co-members to reach their full potential. Course delivery is both virtually through MS Teams and classroom based (on a residential basis at Reed Business School, in the Cotswolds and our head office in Northampton).

What you’ll be doing

  • Designing and develop learning programmes and sessions
  • Delivering training both online and in person
  • Business engagement
  • Managing project timescales and tasks
  • Creation of digital products
  • System administration, maintenance, and implementation
  • Building relationships with IT/understanding new IT products and processes
  • External knowledge and research of L&D trends

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has an interest / experience in learning and development and learning technologies
  • Is able to communicate technical information in a way others can understand
  • Has an understanding of or experience in digital media development tools such as video production tools, graphics and resource design, web design
  • Has facilitated learning (ideally online)
  • Has experience within recruitment, sales and customer service
