Alcedo Care are expanding their current compliance department and are looking for a compliance admin assistant. This role will be assisting our compliance manager and will be based in our Southport office. This is a full time permanent role and working hours are 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday. Starting salary is £18000 rising to £21000 after a successful probationary period.

Job Description
  • Generating memos, emails, reports and other business documents as appropriate
  • Updating and maintaining records, both on paper and digitally
  • Arranging meetings on behalf of the staff, including booking meeting spaces and organising refreshments
  • Taking and distributing meeting minutes
  • Execution of regular compliance audits to ensure timely maintenance of staff compliance
  • Responding to questions and requests for information from service users within the company such as care managers, recruitment managers and accounts/pay roll staff
  • Preparing and reviewing reports
  • Acting as a point of contact for internal service users via email, over the phone or in person
  • Organising filing/administrative systems and updating office databases
  • Processing requests for authorisation of new staff by checking compliance with regulatory, legal and company requirements
  • Ordering new office equipment, such as stationery, or staff ID badges
  • Responding to questions and requests for information from members of the management team
  • Management of annual compliance reviews and renewal of ID badges in respect of staff
  • Assisting Compliance Manager in the management and administration of online learning management system, digital data analysis, health and safety provisions across multiple sites, development of policies and documentation in respect of varied issues regarding compliance and staff welfare
Skills/Experience/Qualifications Required For The Role
  • Pass at GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Excellent organisational skills to ensure that the daily activities of an office run smoothly
  • IT literacy and a working knowledge of relevant software, such as Microsoft Office, Excel
  • The ability to multitask and prioritise tasks to cope with the multifaceted nature of the job
  • The ability to use own initiative but also work as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • A professional and neat appearance
  • Good writing skills and a sound command of the English language
  • Thorough attention to detail
  • Flexibility and openness to change
  • Sensitivity and empathy
  • Resourcefulness and excellent time management skills
