We have *part time* and *full time* roles available. Whether you are an experienced chef or quite new to the kitchen, this is a fantastic opportunity to join an exceptional restaurant in *Southport*. Due to continued success and increased demand, our client are looking to recruit experienced, dedicated individuals to join the expanding team.As a Chef, you’ll be joining an outstanding kitchen team in delivering freshly prepared food to guests of the restaurant, ensuring the highest level of standards, guest satisfaction and profitability. You will assist in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, participate in food preparation and presentation and work within your team to ensure the seamless delivery of service.*Duties within this position include: ** *Setting up the kitchen and maintaining standards of hygiene, presentation and efficiency.** *Cooking food in a timely manner and ensuring excellent presentation.** *Delegate tasks to kitchen staff.** *Modify recipes to suit customers requests, dietary needs and allergen requirement.** *Supervise and assist kitchen staff when needed.** *Monitor food and stock checks, costs, ordering.** *Experiment with food and recipe ideas, creations of new menus and daily specials.** *Inform wait staff of daily specials and missing stock.** *Liaise with front of house team.*This is a full time role in a busy kitchen, with the possibility to work across two sites, so a driver would be preferred, although not essential!*The ideal candidate will: ** *Be a flexible and reliable individual who is passionate about the food industry.** *Have 2 years experience working in busy, fast paced restaurants.** *Have an enthusiastic attitude towards their work.** *Driver preferred.** *Be a team player.** *Have the ability to take and follow instructions effectively and efficiently.*This is a wonderful opportunity, if you think it is for you then we encourage you to apply now!INDPERMJob Types: Full-time, Permanent, Part-timeSalary: £20,000.00-£30,000.00 per yearBenefits
