Accounts Assistant

Exciting temp to perm Assistant Finance Accountant required for an immediate start

A position has arisen for an Assistant Accountant within a reputable organisation in Northampton on a temporary to permanent basis.

Our client is seeking someone to take responsibility of compiling the full management accounts, ensuring that performance targets are met.

You will be involved in month-end reporting, managing treasury reports, assisting in budgeting and forecasting. The role will also involve liaising with Auditors and Tax consultants and ensuring the in house ordering system is maintained. You will assist in preparing various fiscal requirements such as VAT returns, Corporation Tax returns and Financial Statements. You will work in conjunction with the Finance Manager to prepare budgets and treasury forecasts.

The ideal candidate will have experience using accounting systems and at least 2 years accounts experience is essential.

Due to the nature of the role, we require candidates who are available for an immediate start or on short notice.
