Accountant - Southport, up to £35,000 (depending on experience) plus an excellent benefits package.

ABS Resourcing are currently recruiting for a well established successful Accountancy Practice in Southport.

Our client is wanting to recruit an Accountant with extensive experience of working in a Practice and with at least 8 years of Accountancy experience. They are looking for someone with a wide variety of accountancy experience and skills as this role offers a huge amount of variety so the successful candidate needs to be a really good all-rounder.

Details Of The Role / Experience Required

Minimum of 8 years of experience as an Accountant working for an Accountancy practice.

Preparation of annual accounts for all sizes of businesses including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

Preparation of VAT returns using the various different schemes available.

Bookkeeping work for clients and the firm.

Personal tax returns.

Building a positive working relationship with clients and the practice.

Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal procedures.

Day to day use of computer software including Xero and Quickbooks.

Dealing with client queries in a timely and efficient manner.

The ability to work as part of a team and supervise junior staff and colleagues.

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
