As Youth Engagement Worker at Aspens you will work as a senior member within our children’s service, alongside our specialist support services to provide a positive behaviour support (PBS) model to engage young people who have complex needs, which inhibit them from accessing school or college, resulting in increased isolation and withdrawal from community and group-based activities.

The ideal candidate will also have an A-Level equivalent in Social Sciences along with a L3 equivalent in Health and Social Care or Child Care, or be willing to work towards this.

The role involves working with vulnerable young people and their families both at home and in the community, so experience of safeguarding and understanding of safeguarding processes is very important.
