The newly formed Delivery Partnerships and Volunteering Team for the North are looking for an organised and enthusiastic candidate to become our new Youth Development Lead.

You will provide quality support to delivery partners and volunteers across Merseyside and Cheshire. The role is suited to you if you enjoy working with people and building strong relationships.

Relationship management is integral to this role to indirectly manage the educational offer provided by the Trust, working alongside stakeholders in schools and colleges, as well as other delivery partners. Face to face delivery with young people may also be required, as well as a close eye on our delivery numbers, recording and impact. Knowledge of the educational landscape or experience of working in an educational setting is desirable.

Holding a firm understanding of Prince’s Trust programmes, you may also effectively manage the provision of volunteers according to service delivery needs. Delivering excellent support, you will ensure quality volunteering experiences are had at the Prince’s Trust and that these bring value and impact to our programmes with young people. The role will involve organising and managing events for partners and volunteers, again in virtual and face-to-face capacities.

If you are up for a challenge and would like to be part of a great team, we would love to hear from you! Your application will be a CV and a supporting statement (cover letter). Your supporting statement must provide evidence of how you have acquired and applied each of the essential skills, knowledge, and experience criteria and if possible, each of the desirable skills, knowledge, and experience criteria, outlined in the job description, in current and previous roles, or other scenarios.

Why we need Youth Development Lead (Delivery Partnerships & Volunteering)s:

Last year, we helped more than 70,000 young people, with three in four young people on our programmes, move into work, education or training.

The young people we help face a range of challenges, such as unemployment, mental health issues or some have been in trouble with the law. Our job is to inspire and support young people, to help them reach their potential so that they can thrive and society can prosper.

We believe all young people should have the chance to succeed, and that young people are the key to a positive and prosperous future for all of us.
