Zest Education are delighted to be working alongside a lovely school located just outside of Swadlincote. The beautiful school are looking for a passionate year 2 teacher to join their enthusiastic team of staff. The role is due to start September 2023 and runs up until December 2023 however the role does have a possibility of further extension.The lovely school work hard with the local governing body, parents and local facilities to offer a creative curriculum that appeals to the interests of the year 2 class. The team put the children at the heart of everything they do and provide them with a stimulating environment for children to thrive in a nurturing and caring safe place. Having onsite parking facilities and regular public transport the schools appeal to both driving and non-driving candidates as it is easily accessible.The successful candidate will be required:- Plan in order to teach lessons across the primary curriculum.
  • Mark and assess making use of formative and summative assessment,
  • Promote the curriculum and the children’s work through use of display,
  • Ensure a well organised and purposeful learning environment,
  • Manage the behaviour and needs of children across the school in line with the schools behaviour policy,
  • Show a commitment to the wider life of the school,
    • Previous experience within a year 2 environment is desirable however not essential for the role.Pay is dependent on references and experience with daily rates starting at £(Apply online only).Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).The role advertised is for temporary supply work
